Weather at Stone Creek Lodge at Mt. Rainier

The weather patterns at Stone Creek Lodge are largely influenced by Mt. Rainier, the Pacific Ocean, and the elevation. The mountain is said to “make its’ own weather.” Visitors and hikers should be prepared for almost all seasons and weather conditions. For example, it is not uncommon for visitors to find snow at higher elevations in the national park well into mid-July. Pay attention to weather forecasts and special alerts during your visit.
