Mt. Saint Helens Activities

Things To Do in Washington

The Mt. Saint Helens National Monument is a great day trip from Stone Creek Lodge.  The drive is approximately 2-hours, but well worth the time.  The drive will take you through log mill towns, farming communities, and more.

Visitors have the opportunity to explore up to three visitor centers in addition to hiking and exploration.  The Visitor Center at Seaquest with exhibits, the Forest Learning Center with its’ Eruption Chamber Experience, and lastly, the Johnston Ridge Observatory with an awesome “close up” view of the volcano, historical documentary, exhibits, and ranger-led programs.
