Stone Creek Lodge is located at 38624 State Route 706 in Ashford, Washington. We are an easy drive from the SeaTac and Portland airports and located just 200-yards from the Nisqually entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. This is the park’s main entrance and is the only entrance open year-round.
From the North – Seattle, Tacoma, Everett, Bellingham, and Olympic National Park
Travel South on Interstate 5 from Seattle or SeaTac International Airport through Tacoma. Exit onto State Route 512 towards Puyallup. After 2-miles exit into State Route 7 South. In the town of Elbe, continue traveling East on State Route 706 for 14-miles. Stone Creek Lodge at Mt Rainier will be on the right.
From the South – Mt. Saint Helens, Portland, Eugene, and California
Travel North on Interstate 5 from the Portland area. Exit onto US Route 12, East to Morton. After approximately 30-miles, at Morton, exit onto State Route 7 North. Follow approximately 17-miles. In the town of Elbe, turn right and follow State Route 706 East for 14-miles. Stone Creek Lodge at Mt Rainier will be on the right.
From the East – Yakima, Kennewick, Walla Walla, and beyond
Travel West on U.S. Route 12 West from Eastern Washington and…
- In the Summer, turn right onto Hwy 52 (Skate Creek Road) at Packwood’s eastern outskirts. Follow Hwy 52 approximately 52-miles. Turn right onto State Route 706. Follow 3-miles, and Stone Creek Lodge will be on the right.
- In the Winter, follow through Packwood and continue on U.S. Highway 12 to the town of Morton. At Morton, exit onto State Route 7 North. Follow approximately 17-miles. In the town of Elbe, turn right and follow State Route 706 East for 14-miles. Stone Creek Lodge at Mt Rainier will be on the right.
