Not planning on visiting the National Park during your stay? Challenge your friends or family to one of our board games or lawn games. Take a walk to the Nisqually River. Explore the rock formations created by the glaciers of Mt. Rainier and the driftwood created by the power of the river. If you prefer a little rest & relaxation, consider staying in one of our hot tub cabins to relax and melt your stress away in the jetted outdoor tubs.
Community Campfire – Join us in the courtyard for a nightly community campfire, weather permitting. Listen to stories and share trail tips with other guests while toasting marshmallows and making S’mores. We provide the essentials, plus you won’t need to gather or chop firewood.
Family Games – Enjoy the many family games in our loaner collection. Choose from indoor board and card games to outdoor favorites such as bean toss, croquet or bocce ball.
Nisqually River Walk – Located less than a 1/4-mile from Stone Creek Lodge is the Upper Nisqually River. Take a walk along the levy to spot native birds, wildlife, and flora. Or, enjoy the solitude the valley offers. Feeling creative? Test your skills with Rock Balancing and build a Cairn in the riverbed, or admire the artists’ works before you. Just don’t get too close to the water, as the temperature is dangerously cold, and the current moves rapidly.
