- Our primary goal of reducing energy consumption has been successfully achieved. In 2023, we installed heat pumps in every cabin and suite, offering a highly efficient heating and cooling solution for year-round comfort. Our onsite laundry facility is also equipped with on-demand hot water, enhancing efficiency.
- Meanwhile, all light fixtures contain LED bulbs to reduce electric consumption.
- Our initiative to reduce plastic consumption is a success. Firstly, we eliminated the tiny plastic single-use toiletries from our cabins and suites. They were replaced with soap and shampoo dispensers in every private bathroom. Secondly, in the summer of 2020, we replaced disposable plastic drinking cups with sanitary paper biodegradable cups.
- We encouraged guests to reuse bath towels, reducing water consumption. Clean towels are provided every other day. Likewise, we also encourage guests to use the same bed linens throughout their stay. However, for your comfort, fresh towels and linens are always made available upon request.
- Recycling bins are provided in every cabin and suite at Stone Creek Lodge. We encourage our guests to recycle paper, clean glass, aluminum, and plastics.
- We sort recycled items on-site. We sort glass by color. We separate aluminum cans from tin cans to enhance repurposing. We also sort cardboard and mixed recyclables to increase reuse potential.
- Stone Creek Lodge staff transports glass, aluminum, and cardboard to regional recycling centers.
- Stone Creek Lodge has planted many trees around the property’s perimeter for future generations to enjoy.
