What to Expect from our Lodging at Mt. Rainier

At Stone Creek Lodge, we’re dedicated to making your trip both enjoyable and memorable. Below, you’ll find key information about your stay and what to expect. Start planning your vacation and book now to prepare for an amazing getaway at our lodging near Mt. Rainier!

  • Family pets are not allowed on the property. Also, family pets are not permitted on the trails of Mt. Rainier National Park. A cleaning fee will be applied for evidence of family pets.
  • For all guests’ comfort, health, and safety, smoking or vaping of any kind is not permitted in any building. Likewise, incense, fireworks, candles, and other open flame items are not permitted. A cleaning fee will be applied for evidence of smoking, vaping, and incense use indoors.
  • Camping stoves and personal BBQ grills may be used outdoors, away from the buildings. Cooking in non-cooking cabins/suites will result in a cleaning fee. 
  • Guests provided cooking appliances must be used outdoors. Cooking in non-cooking cabins/suites will result in a cleaning fee. 
  • Loss of cabin/suite key will result in a replacement cost.
  • Internet Wi-Fi is provided at no charge and is available both in the cabins and outdoors for guest convenience.
  • Limited cell phone reception is available at Stone Creek Lodge; however, full access may be found within a few miles on State Route 706.
  • Cooking on cabin fireplaces is strictly prohibited. Park style grills are provided for outdoor grilling and cooking (don’t forget the charcoal).
  • During your stay, housekeeping is provided every other day. Please let us know if you have a need or desire for daily housekeeping.
  • Please keep all furniture, bedding, and linens indoors.
  • Hot tubs are cabin specific. Only guests staying in a designated hot tub cabin may make use of this amenity.
  • Out of respect to all registered guests, we do not allow our guests to have visitors at Stone Creek Lodge except for ride-sharing or carpooling.
  • The community campfire is hosted and managed by Stone Creek Lodge staff nightly during the summer and on weekends by request in the off-season based upon weather conditions, occupancy, and state & local fire/burn bans.

Day of Arrival and Check-In

  • Check-in is between 4:00 pm and 9:00 pm PST. Unfortunately, we cannot provide early check-in or late check-out options without prior approval.
  • The credit card used to secure your reservation must be presented at the time of check-in along with a matching photo ID.
  • All check-ins are conducted in the reserved cabin/suite. Upon arriving at the office, you will be instructed where to park, and we will meet you at your reserved unit.
  • A $100.00 security deposit is processed upon check-in.

Check-Out Process

  • Check-out is by 11:00 am so that we may prepare for arriving guests. Unfortunately, we cannot provide late check-out options without prior approval.
  • Cabins/Suites are to be left in good repair with dishes washed. Unwashed dishes may result in a cleaning fee.
  • To conserve energy, guests are asked to turn off lights and lower all heating thermostats.
  • Before 8:00 am, early departing guests will have access to a dropbox for the Cabin/Suite key. Look for the red key dropbox located at the office entrance.
