Reservation Policies

  • A reservation is a commitment to purchase lodging from Stone Creek Lodge.
  • All reservations are secured and guaranteed by credit card. Stone Creek Lodge accepts American Express, Visa, Master Card, and Discover.
  • The credit card used for the reservation and matching photo ID must be presented at the time of check-in.
  • Reservations can be made using our secure website, by phone, or in person.
  • Regardless of how you make your reservations, confirmations are sent via email. Please confirm that all information is accurate and reflects your intentions, including dates, cabin/suite type, and guests’ total number. Contact us immediately if any information is incorrect.   • Stone Creek Lodge has a two-night minimum reservation requirement during the summer season and most holidays. Single-day reservations, when available, can be booked online, by phone, or in person.
  • Call Stone Creek Lodge during the business hours of 8:00 am to 9:00 pm PST for phone reservations. Should you reach our voice mail, we are assisting guests or out on the property preparing accommodations. Please leave your name, phone number, and dates related to your inquiry. We will return your call. Our phone number is 360-569-2355.
  • A 50% deposit is collected at the time of your reservation, with the balance automatically-collected 14-days before the arrival/check-in date.
  • Reservations made within 14-days of arrival will be responsible for full payment at the time of booking.
  • Single night reservations will be responsible for full payment at the time of booking.
  • Redemption of gift certificates or specials must be completed at the time of booking.
  • Rates may vary based on season, availability, guest count, and other related criteria.
  • Rates are subject to state and local taxes.
  • Falsifying reservation information may cause cancellation of a reservation, and your reservation will be treated as a “no-show.” A partial list of falsified information includes, but is not limited to: incorrect guest count, incorrect guest type, contact information, email address, and billing information.

Cancellation Policy

  • All terms of the cancellation policy are based on the original reservation’s scheduled arrival date, and the date cancellation is made.
  • All cancellations may be subject to a minimum cancellation fee of $50.
  • Refunds are based on the advanced notice provided concerning the scheduled arrival date and arrival time:
    • Cancellations received 31-days before the scheduled arrival date: A full refund of the amount paid will be provided, less a $50 cancellation fee.
    • Cancellations 30 to 15-days before the scheduled arrival date: The amount paid towards the reservation deposit is non-refundable and is converted to a cancellation fee. If the reserved cabin/suite is rebooked, the amount paid will be refunded for the day(s) the cabin/suite is re-booked, less the $50 cancellation fee.
    • Cancellations 14-days and less: The full reservation amount paid is non-refundable and is converted to a cancellation fee. If the reserved cabin/suite is rebooked, the amount paid will be refunded for the day(s) the cabin/suite is re-booked, less the $50 cancellation fee.
    • Same-day cancellations made within 24-hours of the arrival date, 4:00 pm PT the day prior: The full reservation amount is converted to a cancellation fee, and there is no opportunity for a refund in full or in part.
    • A no-show with no cancellation notice provided: The full reservation amount is converted to a cancellation fee. There is no opportunity for a refund in full or in part.
  • Refunds are not provided for early departures.
  • A one-time date change may be possible without penalty based on cabin/suite availability and occupancy. However, any additional reservation changes or cancellations are based on the original reservation arrival date.
  • Stone Creek Lodge at Mt. Rainier is not affiliated with Mt. Rational National Park. Stone Creek Lodge is located on State Route 706, just outside Mt. Rainier National Park. Stone Creek Lodge is not responsible for National Park closure or reduced hours, National Park road closure, and access within the Park. Our cancellation policy is independent of Mt. Rainier National Park operations, conditions, and status.
  • Unexpected events or emergencies can disrupt your travel plans. To prepare for these unforeseeable circumstances, some guests opt to purchase travel insurance. Travel insurance is available through several independent providers based on your individual circumstances and needs.

Day of Arrival and Check-In

  • Check-in is between 4:00 pm and 9:00 pm PST. Unfortunately, we cannot provide early check-in or late check-out options without prior approval.
  • The credit card used to secure your reservation must be presented at the time of check-in along with a matching photo ID.
  • All check-ins are conducted in the reserved cabin/suite. Upon arriving at the office, you will be instructed where to park, and we will meet you at your reserved unit.
  • A $100.00 security deposit is processed upon check-in.

During Your Stay

  • Family pets are not allowed on the property. Also, family pets are not permitted on the trails of Mt. Rainier National Park. A cleaning fee will be applied for evidence of family pets.
  • For all guests’ comfort, health, and safety, smoking or vaping of any kind is not permitted in any building. Likewise, incense, fireworks, candles, and other open flame items are not permitted. A cleaning fee will be applied for evidence of smoking, vaping, and incense use indoors.
  • Camping stoves and personal BBQ grills may be used outdoors, away from the buildings. Cooking in non-cooking cabins/suites will result in a cleaning fee. 
  • Guests provided cooking appliances must be used outdoors. Cooking in non-cooking cabins/suites will result in a cleaning fee. 
  • Loss of cabin/suite key will result in a replacement cost.
  • Internet Wi-Fi is provided at no charge and is available both in the cabins and outdoors for guest convenience.
  • Limited cell phone reception is available at Stone Creek Lodge; however, full access may be found within a few miles on State Route 706.
  • Cooking on cabin fireplaces is strictly prohibited. Park style grills are provided for outdoor grilling and cooking (don’t forget the charcoal).
  • During your stay, housekeeping is provided every other day. Please let us know if you have a need or desire for daily housekeeping.
  • Please keep all furniture, bedding, and linens indoors.
  • Hot tubs are cabin specific. Only guests staying in a designated hot tub cabin may make use of this amenity.
  • Out of respect to all registered guests, we do not allow our guests to have visitors at Stone Creek Lodge except for ride-sharing or carpooling.
  • The community campfire is hosted and managed by Stone Creek Lodge staff nightly during the summer and on weekends by request in the off-season based upon weather conditions, occupancy, and state & local fire/burn bans.

Check-Out Process

  • Check-out is by 11:00 am so that we may prepare for arriving guests. Unfortunately, we cannot provide late check-out options without prior approval.
  • Cabins/Suites are to be left in good repair with dishes washed. Unwashed dishes may result in a cleaning fee.
  • To conserve energy, guests are asked to turn off lights and lower all heating thermostats.
  • Before 8:00 am, early departing guests will have access to a dropbox for the Cabin/Suite key. Look for the red key dropbox located at the office entrance.
